The Ivy House is a charming, quaint First Degree listed property, fully renovated in 2006 by a renowned expert local developer.
The house is built in traditional stone (but with a modern interior); the thick stone walls helping to keep rooms cool during the summer and retaining heat in the cooler months. The Ivy House is situated in the heart of the old town and is thought to be around 100 years old on the exterior... the charm of the property is further enhanced by the grapevine that twists its way up the front of the house, resting on the roof top pergola to give shade when required during the long lazy days in the summer sun.
The Ivy House is one of the few genuinely centrally situated properties available for rent in the Old Town: no need for the long walk or a taxi home after a relaxing evening at your favourite restaurant or bar. The amazing large roof terrace has room for 4 sun beds, dining area and a relaxed seating area with sea views.
In addition to the fantastic outdoor space the house has 2 large bedrooms with firm king size beds, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen area and spacious living and dining area. For your comfort there is an ice maker, juicer, DVD player with large choice of proper local copies, washing machine as well as all the basic utensils.
