The Ivy House is a charming, quaint First Degree listed property, fully renovated in 2006 by a renowned expert local developer.
The house is built in traditional stone (but with a modern interior); the thick stone walls helping to keep rooms cool during the summer and retaining heat in the cooler months. The Ivy House is situated in the heart of the old town and is thought to be around 100 years old on the exterior... the charm of the property is further enhanced by the grapevine that twists its way up the front of the house, resting on the roof top pergola to give shade when required during the long lazy days in the summer sun.

The amazing large roof terrace has room for 4 sun beds, dining area and a relaxed seating area with sea views.

For your comfort there is an ice maker, juicer, DVD player with large choice of proper local copies, washing machine as well as all the basic utensils.
Kalkan is blessed with some of the best restaurants in Turkey and regardless of budget you will find it hard to be disappointed with any of them, a cosmopolitan destination that retains its character year after year - and at the Ivy House you are only a stone;'s throw away from these delightful attractions. Kalkan is also a great base for exploring the ancient cities in the Lycian area as well as having access to water sports, para gliding and river canoeing.

Situated right in the heart of he Old Town, The Ivy House is in a perfect location to enjoy all that is best in Kalkan. The restaurants, bars, boutiques are all within a stone's throw - and it's only one minute to the beach and harbour!
For history lovers the ancient Lycian sites of Tlos, Patara, Kekova, Xanthos, Pinara and Simena are all nearby. For excitement and fun the Saklikent gorge is a must do! At least once and rafting and mud baths are optional, water sports for everyone and paragliding for the strong of heart. Sun lovers can just while away the hours at Patara, Kalkan beach or beach clubs, on a great roof terrace or a day on the many gastronomic boat trips.
The Ivy House benefits from original Turkish carpets throughout, as well as original Turkish decoration pieces.

This is a great central location for anyone that likes a quality holiday in a grade 1 building with some modern luxuries such as an ice maker, DVD player, Bose docking station etc

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house is cleaned Weekly and bins are emptied daily, we have also supplied Beach towels for sunbed use and beach.

The Roof Terrace is a great place to spend the day, 4 sun beds, parasol and a dining area with easy internal access. The beach is less than 2 minutes away if you needed to cool down during the hotter summer months.
