A luxurious 3 bed duplex apartment with its very own private pool - very unusual for apartments near the centre of Kalkan!

Mar Azul apartment is a delightful brand-new, beautifully-appointed and well-equipped apartment, in an enviable position close to the centre of Kalkan. It's really more like a semi-detached house, and the location and position make it feel very much like a home-from-home, but the luxurious feel and tasteful decoration put Mar Azul in a class above similarly-sized accommodation in Kalkan.

A car is not necessary here; you can easily walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and boutiques of this friendly-but-sophisticated harbour town in just a few minutes. No steep hills to climb on the way back from an evening in the town... and regular Kalkan visitors will know exactly what we mean here! However, hiring a car for the duration would give you the opportunity to make your way to the many attractions outside of the town, such as the beaches at Patara and Kaputas and the many historic sites and areas of natural beauty.

In terms of accommodation: the apartment has 2 double bedrooms; each of these has a super-king size bed, and both have large, modern ensuite shower/bathrooms (one with a jacuzzi bath as well as a shower). The 3rd bedroom is set off the "master" bedroom and has a single bed.

There is also a sofa bed in one of the bedrooms, but this is really only suitable for a small child. Mar Azul can therefore accommodate up to six people - but only when at least one of the party is a younger child.

Mar Azul has been tastefully furnished and decorated and has been very well equipped; the owners have included everything to ensure that you have everything you need for a fabulous, memorable holiday in Kalkan:

 My friends and I loved this stunning apartment. It is a great location within a very easy walking distance to the harbour and restaurants, weekly markets and stores. The private pool is wonderful to laze around all day, if that's your thing. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms if there are a few people, but at the same time it wouldn't feel too big if it was just for a couple. I love the fact that they have thought through the fact that sometimes you might just want to cook at 'home' as there are plenty of cooking utensils if you enjoy cooking. The owners clearly care about the apartment and the experience you are going to have and I will definitely be booking to go back again and again.

 Perfect place - just right for a stroll to the beach and the lovely bars, restaurants and shops nearby, or stay in for a barbie by the pool. Loads to do in and around Kalkan too, so we weren't bored. We'll be back for sure!

 Lovely holiday at the Mar Azul, such a nice property and just the right distance from town for a nice walk. It was brilliant, home from home and didn't want to leave.
