Villa Benita is a detached villa located in the peaceful area of Ortalaan in Kalkan, this stylish and spacious home is a tranquil base for a holiday in the sun.

The villa has three bedrooms, a king and twin upstairs, and a double bedroom on the ground floor. The spacious bedrooms on the first-floor open onto a shared balcony, with views of the mountains and Kalkan bay, the balcony has rattan chairs and a table and is the perfect spot for your morning coffee. The twin room, can also be a triple room if required. The bedrooms are tastefully furnished with ample storage space.

The décor throughout the villa is uncluttered and elegant with marble floors, which keep the villa beautifully cool.

Downstairs is open plan, with a well-equipped kitchen, sitting room and dining area, which open onto the terrace. There are two terrace areas, a dining terrace with BBQ, covered by a pergola to provide shade, the other terrace enjoys more shade so it is the perfect place to relax on our terrace sofa. The roof terrace has stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Kalkan bay, and is in full sun all day, we provide sun loungers and comfortable sofas, with outstanding views of the sunsets.

The villa is set in mature gardens, densely planted with lemon, olive and pomegranate trees, with hibiscus and bougainvillea adding vibrant colour. The private pool is 6m x 4m, with tiled corner steps and a cleverly designed ledge at one end to create a shallow area. Comfortable poolside loungers are provided for sun worshippers or you can stretch out on our poolside sofa with a good book.

Villa Benita is a lovely villa, very beautifully furnished and fitted out. We have been coming to Kalkan for 20 years, and this was definitely one of the best we've stayed in. The setting is very beautiful, in mature gardens with Mediterranean plants, creating a lovely cool feel, even when it's hot; and being on slightly raised ground, it also gets a nice breeze. Everything went smoothly, and the communication from Rosie during the booking process and before our stay couldn't be faulted. The manager, Mehmet, was also extremely helpful, arranging additional transfers etc. Many reviews have made comments about Kalkan itself; suffice it to say that we fell in love with it the first we came 20 years ago, and we've come back almost every year since. It is really one of the most beautiful places on the Mediterranean, and the people in the village are so friendly and helpful. Accommodation description

Bedrooms:
On the ground floor we have a double bedroom with views over the terrace and garden, and on the first floor there are two large comfortable bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the other with twin beds ( a third full size single bed can be added if needed) both bedrooms open onto a balcony. All bedrooms have plenty of storage, bedside tables, and sea or garden views.

Bathrooms:
There are two spacious bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, they both have large showers, WC’s and vanity units.

Kitchen:
The large kitchen has a fully fitted units and includes an oven, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and toaster. We provide plenty of crockery and cutlery and non-breakable tableware for use around the pool.

Living area:
The spacious open plan living room has comfortable seating, an open fire, free hi-speed WiFi, flat screen TV with English channels and a dining area, with access onto two terraces, one covered for dining and one providing a relaxed seating area.

Utility Facilities:
The washing machine is in the first-floor bathroom, and we provide a washing line, drying rack, ironing board and iron.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
All towels and bed linen are provided. Pool towels are also provided, which will save you room in your suitcase. Weekly laundry and cleaning are included. Extra cleaning available on request at an additional charge

Outside:
Private pool with lighting, shaded terrace with pergola, table and 6 chairs, BBQ, adjustable wooden sun beds, umbrellas and tables. Corner sofa and coffee table, roof top terrace with two sofa’s, large drinks table and sun loungers. The pool and gardens are maintained daily.

How to get there:
The nearest airport is Dalaman which is 90 minutes away, villa manager Mehmet can arrange airport transfers and excursions to various local sites. Car hire is not necessary, as taxis are cheap and plentiful, car hire can be arranged if required.

Important notes on accommodation:

Villa Benita offers accommodation for up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms. We aim to be flexible on arrival and departure days, flights from the UK tend to be on Saturdays and Mondays, if you have a late return flight, we will do our best to accommodate a late check out. Please note: Young children are very welcome at Villa Benita, but please be aware that the villa has marble stairs, marble floors, a roof terrace and a pool which is not fenced.
